At "Baristapas," creative cuisine meets art, making it a perfect fit for our English-speaking roundtable discussions and some yummy Tapas for Breakfast. Yes: Tapas for Breakfast, how freakin´cool is that?!
This colorful hybrid of tapas bar and café is a feast for the eyes and a culinary treat for those with a bit of patience and a good mood on the weekend: Upon entry, a ceiling light shaped like a curlicuar cord guides you through the entire shop.
Another eye-catcher: a surrealist-style image of a woman wearing sunglasses by the French artist SKIO. The artist was also involved in painting the drawbridge at Bilk S-Bahn station, among other things. The owner gathered inspiration for the sometimes extravagant interiors on her travels to Malaysia and Thailand.
